Stitch Fix Recap #27

January 6, 2017

Happy Friday, everyone! I’m enjoying my last day of vacation before heading back to work on Monday. This last week has been fantastic and I have so many great things coming your way, both here on the blog and in my shop. But while I wrap up a few final details, I’m sharing my most recent Stitch Fix!

This box was a tough one for me as there were a lot of pieces I really liked and likely would have purchased if they’d been less expensive. But with Christmas spending, I couldn’t justify keeping everything I loved so I had to make some tough choices.

Item #1: Lysse Sunnie Sueded Legging. This was an easy choice for me, essentially the only one in the box. I am normally a fan of leggings, but these had the weirdest fake suede texture and were just not for me. I sent them back and haven’t had any second thoughts about it.

Item #2: 41Hawthorn Lizzy Colorblock Striped Sweater. I really liked this sweater and it was so insanely soft that I debated keeping it for quite a while. But the fit was a bit off and the price was higher than I wanted to spend so I sent it back. Luckily, NC weather hasn’t been cold enough for me to regret it, yet.

Item #3: Gilli Kamile Knit Dress. I really loved the color of this dress. I don’t own anything in this color and that almost got me to keep it. But the cut wasn’t the most flattering and it wasn’t really good for winter weather, even NC’s relatively balmy winter weather. I sent it back, but may regret it come spring time.

Item #4: Market & Spruce Anella Puffer Vest. Ugh. This vest. I loved it and wanted to keep it so badly. But I have this love-hate relationship with puffer vests. As in, I love them on other people, but hate them on me. Sadly, I knew I would likely never wear this vest and (realistically) sent it back.

Item #5: RD Style Jana Poncho Pullover. Spoiler: this is the only item I kept and I am so happy I did! I’ve worn it multiple times and know it will be a wardrobe staple in the months to come. It’s essentially a sweatshirt I can get away with wearing at work. Super comfy and cozy!

Do you think I made the right choices? Would you have kept anything I sent back? If you’d like to try Stitch Fix, I’d love it if you used my referral link!
