Work weeks after long holiday weekends are tough. Maybe it’s trying to cram five days worth of work into four or maybe it’s a bit of a fungover (a fun hangover) that keeps you from being really focused in the office. Whatever it is, I’m very glad it’s already the middle of the week! I’m also very glad that I get to share this month’s Stitch Fix with you all today!
Item #1: Donna Morgan Marlow Jersey Shirt Dress. I wasn’t too sure about this dress when I pulled it out of the box, but when I put it on, I really liked it! The length and cut were totally work appropriate and it will be great for early fall so I splurged and kept this one.
Item #2: Loveappella Tomos Contrast Hem Knit Top. I loved the style of this one immediately, but wasn’t such a fan of the fit on me. The fabric was a little too thick so it ended up being really boxy. The horizontal stripes did not help. Back it went.
Item #3: Papermoon Reen Woven Detail Knit Top. This one was an immediate favorite that lived it up to expectations when I tried it on. The fabric was super soft and comfortable and I’ve worn it a few times already. I’m very glad I kept this one!
Item #4: Daniel Rainn Ina Tie Neck Blouse. This one was a no go for me right away and trying it on did not save it. The style and color were not flattering on me so I didn’t hesitate to send it back.
Item #5: Brixon Ivy Maloof Crochet Top. I debated keeping this for a long time! I loved the color and style, but I had quite a few shirts that were similar so I sent it back. So far, I haven’t regretted it, but I also know I would have worn it a bunch.
Should I have kept that last shirt?
