It wasn’t much of a secret that my last two Fixes had been a little well…underwhelming. So I think it’s understandable that when I saw my latest Fix on my doorstep, I didn’t have nearly the same level of excitement as I normally do.
But when I opened it?
Completely different story, ladies. This box was so much better than my last few boxes. Like night and day difference. So good that I kept everything.
Item #1: 41Hawthorn Lugo Split Neck Blouse. Last month, I talked about certain styles working on other people, but not me. This style blouse? TOTALLY works on me. So I will buy this shirt all day long because I know that it fits my body and my style. Plus, something about wearing a white top makes me feel very adult and pulled together. (Please don’t spill lunch, Rachel. Please don’t spill.)
Item #2: Bancroft Winona Crystal Medallion Necklace. I don’t normally keep my Fix jewelry, but this one spoke to me for some reason. I think it will look great with simpler tops or even an open neck dress. I’m looking forward to spreading my style wings when it comes to jewelry this year.
Item #3: Level 99 Sandy Bootcut Jean. OHEMGEE, THESE JEANS. All the squeals. I specifically requested bootcut jeans since I owned um…zero pairs after a closet purge. These are hands down the best bootcut jeans I’ve ever owned so I say I came out on top. They fit perfectly, were the right length (that’s hard for the 5’4″ and under crowd) and had the right wash for me. I’ve worn them so many times, I’ve already got my money’s worth.
Item #4: Mak Jaclynn 3/4 Sleeve button-up Cardigan. This was a much-needed piece in my wardrobe as I tend to favor layers rather than super warm single items in the winter. I really like that Stitch Fix mixes in staple pieces along with their more unique items.
Item #5: Muse Royce Dress. Speaking of unique, statement pieces…this red dress is a jaw dropper. A picture of it on a hanger doesn’t really do it justice because it fits so well and looks fantastic on! I see a super fancy date night in my future!
