Getting My Next Fashion Fix: Stitch Fix Recap #4

February 5, 2015

Happy Thursday! I am so looking forward to this weekend, A and I have some great adventures planned. But before I can get to those, I still have a few more hours at work. Luckily, I’m wearing one of my super cute new Stitch Fix pieces to make things a little easier.

After a not so great Fix last time, my stylist really rebounded this month.  I had to really play “bad cop” to the pieces I received so that I didn’t buy them all!

Item #1: Adora Ankle Length Colored Skinny Jeans. While I loved the color (this photo does not do the purple justice) and feel of these pants, the fit just wasn’t right. I was so bummed! And became a little more resolved to hit the gym more often.

Item #2: Lauree V-Neck Drape Dress.  I’d asked my stylist to send me possible bridesmaid’s dress options in my next few Fixes as I prepare for a wedding in April.  This one, sadly, was a no-go.  The color wasn’t quite right and the neckline was waaaaay too low on me for the event.

Item #3: Dita Sleeveless Ponte Dress. I almost bought this dress. I so almost bought this dress.  But it wasn’t quite the right color for the bridesmaid’s dress and I have one almost identical to it hanging in my closet, so I made the super tough decision to send it back. I may kind of regret it.

Item #4: Rosa Tab Sleeve V-Neck Blouse.  This one was a definite keeper.  Super comfortable and lightweight so it’s perfect for the office in August and I loved the color!

Item #5: Bixby Bird Print Tab Sleeve Blouse.  Another keeper! Same fantastic material and such a fun print! I tend to have a lot of solids so having something with a little more interest appealed to me. Plus it has such fun buttons!
